The Atlas of Otoscopy is marked by excellent photography that provides to the reader the detail necessary for the diagnosis of disease of the temporal bone. Authors Joseph B. Touma, PhD, and B. Joseph Touma, MD, have, with photomicrographs, been able to share with the reader their extensive experience with, excellence in, and enthusiasm for the specialty of otology by demonstrating various states of the tympanic membrane—normal and abnormal for the etiologies of inflammation, trauma, tumor, and otosclerosis.
