Abstract
Comparison of Vestibular Rehabilitation on Balance Function in Cochlear Implant Recipients
Author(s): Sirvan Nafaji, Hassan Abshirini, Saman KarkhanehCochlear Implantation (CI) is an effective surgical approach to rehabilitate the deaf patients. However, the insertion of an electrode into the cochlea may have an adverse effect on vestibular receptors, resulting in vertigo or dizziness. The present study is aimed to investigate the impacts of vestibular rehabilitation therapy (VRT) exercises on dizziness symptoms of patients who underwent CIlimb.
